What does the job look like?

This is an exciting time at Armaguard as we continue to transform our business through growth and innovation. Reporting to the Regional Security Manager, you will play a key role in safeguarding our people, assets, and operations. You will draw on your security experience to confidently manage a range of situations with discretion, professionalism, and a strong commitment to confidentiality. Key areas include:

• Perform armed static guarding duties, maintaining a strong security presence
• Manage access control across Armaguard facilities, ensuring strict adherence to security protocols
• Communicate and distribute critical security information to branches in a timely manner
• Support security audits and compliance activities to maintain operational standards
• Provide guarding and operational support to road crews
• Work collaboratively with road crew, site managers, and law enforcement to address security matters and protect company assets

Are you the one?

Focusing on the delivery of high quality, customer focused security services, the successful applicants will demonstrate commitment to execute security protocols in line to company policies and State statues. You can demonstrate:

• Previous experience in security or a similar environment (highly regarded)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with the public and stakeholders at all levels
• Solid computer skills, including the ability to prepare clear and accurate incident reports
• A sound understanding of OH&S and risk management principles
• Proven ability to perform in high-pressure environments while maintaining strict confidentiality
• VIC Security Licence (Armed/ Unarmed)
• Security Guard Firearms Licence
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Certificate III in Security Operations
