What does the job look like?

Working closely with the CFO, the Deputy Chief Financial Officer is responsible for assisting the business to achieve the Armaguard Group three-year financial plan through implementation of commercially sound and effective processes. Key areas include:

• Oversight and management of the financial services
• Working with Senior Managers and members of the Finance team to efficiently lead the integration of the two businesses following the merger to achieve the necessary synergies
• Preparation of investment proposals, providing sound financial insights
• Providing financial insights and analysis in relation to merger & acquisition opportunities
• Preparing financial results and insights in a quality and timely manner to the AG Board, the Audit & Risk Committee, the Remuneration Committee, and any special purpose subcommittees as required by the CFO
• Costing, pricing and operational analysis to respond to Tender requirements.
• Supplier management (including tender preparation and response analysis)

Are you the one?

As a qualified individual with previous experience in a similar role, you would already have exposure to working with mergers and acquisitions. You are a natural leader with an inquisitive nature. You can demonstrate:

• Demonstrated capability as Business Analyst with commercial exposure to costing, pricing, M&A and business integration
• Sound knowledge commercial principles and developing commercial business solutions
• Advanced knowledge of financial accounting principles and processes (IFRS)
• Business risk identification
• A sound knowledge of the transport/logistics industry
• Presenting to Boards and subcommittees
